In this show, Hélène Engel presents to us the book-CD entitled Comptines du jardin d’Eden, composed of 28 children’s songs, sung in Yiddish, Hebrew, Judeo-Spanish and Arab. We will listen to a few of these songs presented by Hélène Engel.

Hélène Engel is a singer, musicologist, author, composer and arranger. She is interested in all aspects of Jewish music, from the collecting of historical sounds to today’s compositions. Based in Montreal, she hosts the radio show " The hidden sides of Jewish Music" on Radio SHALOM Montreal.
