Zu den Kantoren, Arrangeuren und Komponisten dieses neuen Synagogengottesdienstes geh\u00f6rten Salomon Sulzer in Wien (ab 1826), Hirsch Weintraub in K\u00f6nigsberg (1838), Louis Lewandowski in Berlin (1840) und Samuel Naumbourg in Paris (1845). Diese verschiedenen Kantoren komponierten Gebetsmelodien im tonalen Stil, lehnten aber die alten synagogalen Ges\u00e4nge nicht ab, die sie f\u00fcr Solo und Chor, oft mit Orgelbegleitung, zu harmonisieren versuchten.<\/p>\n<p>W\u00e4hrend die liturgischen Werke dieser Reformatoren relativ gut bekannt sind, wei\u00df man manchmal nicht, dass sie auch St\u00fccke f\u00fcr Klavier und andere Instrumente geschrieben haben.
