Dezember 2022 \u00fcbergab <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/de\/heymann-michel-1952\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Michel Heymann<\/a> dem Institut Europ\u00e9en des Musiques Juives einen Archivbestand, der fast f\u00fcnfzig Jahre seiner T\u00e4tigkeit als Hazzan in Haguenau, Mulhouse und Luxemburg umfasst. Dieser Bestand zeichnet sich durch seinen Reichtum und seine Vielfalt aus und veranschaulicht die Weitergabe der aschkenasischen Kantorentradition des Rheintals \u00fcber einen Zeitraum von mehr als einem Jahrhundert.<\/p>\n<p>Es besteht aus mehreren tausend Seiten meist handgeschriebener Partituren, von denen einige noch unver\u00f6ffentlicht sind, sowie aus mehreren hundert Stunden Audio- und Videoaufnahmen.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_119129\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-119129\" style=\"width: 142px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-119129\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/I_484_redim-1-211x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"142\" height=\"202\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/I_484_redim-1-211x300.jpg 211w, https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/I_484_redim-1.jpg 321w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 142px) 100vw, 142px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-119129\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><strong>Rabbiner Isa\u00efe Schwartz<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Diese Dokumente zeugen von der Vitalit\u00e4t der els\u00e4ssischen Hazzanout und vom Engagement Michel Heymanns f\u00fcr die Erhaltung dieses musikalischen Erbes.<\/p>\n<p>Zu den bemerkenswerten Dokumenten geh\u00f6ren eine Partitur der <em>Marseillaise<\/em> (franz\u00f6sische Nationalhymne), die 1918 in Elsass-Lothringen ver\u00f6ffentlicht wurde, und das Programm einer Synagogenfeier, mit der die R\u00fcckkehr des Elsass zu Frankreich gefeiert wurde. Besonders erw\u00e4hnenswert ist ein Notizbuch von <a href=\"http:\/\/www.judaisme-alsalor.fr\/histoire\/rabbins\/hazanim\/bjoseph.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bertrand Joseph<\/a>, dem Lehrer von Michel Heymann, in dem zahlreiche Melodien des Festzyklus genau transkribiert sind. Ein weiteres bemerkenswertes Dokument ist das <em>Gesangbuch f\u00fcr Emil Jacob<\/em> aus dem Jahr 1899, das sich durch die Qualit\u00e4t der Schrift und des Erhaltungszustandes auszeichnet.<\/p>\n<p>Der Bestand umfasst auch ein umfangreiches Tonarchiv, das haupts\u00e4chlich bei Konzerten mit Michel Heymann, manchmal in Zusammenarbeit mit renommierten Hazzanim, aufgenommen wurde. Diese Aufnahmen zeugen von der Pr\u00e4zision, der Sensibilit\u00e4t und der Meisterschaft, die f\u00fcr die Auff\u00fchrung des liturgischen Repertoires des els\u00e4ssischen Ritus erforderlich sind. Als Chorleiter transkribierte B\u00f6chner h\u00e4ufig die Melodien des rheinischen Ritus, um den Hazzanim die Interpretation zu erleichtern. Viele der wenigen handschriftlichen Partituren im Bestand scheinen ebenfalls von ihm zu stammen. Als Autor der Sammlung <em>Schir\u00eb Dovid<\/em> hat er darin die wichtigsten liturgischen Melodien dieser Tradition festgehalten.
