Jahrhundert in Italien entwickelte und im 18. Jahrhundert in Amsterdam fortgesetzt wurde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>J\u00fcdische Barockmusik \u2013 ein kurzer \u00dcberblick<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Im 16. und 17. Jahrhundert nahm der Hof der Gonzaga in Mantua zahlreiche j\u00fcdische Musiker auf. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/de\/rossi-salomone-vers-1570-vers-1630\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Salamone Rossi (ca 1570 \u2013 ca 1630)<\/a>, sicherlich der ber\u00fchmteste unter ihnen, arbeitete dort bis 1612 an der Seite von Claudio Monteverdi (1567\u20131643). In den Jahren 1622\u201323 ver\u00f6ffentlichte Rossi unter dem Einfluss des reformorientierten Rabbiners Leon Modena in Venedig eine bedeutende Sammlung mit dem Titel \u201eHa-Shirim asher li-Shelomo\u201d (\u201eDie Lieder Salomos\u201d), die 33 Ch\u00f6re f\u00fcr drei bis acht Stimmen f\u00fcr den Synagogenkult im italienischen Stil jener Zeit enthielt. Die vorliegende CD enth\u00e4lt drei dieser Ch\u00f6re (En Keloh\u00e8nu, Shir hamaalot und Mizmor le Toda), unterbrochen von Instrumentalst\u00fccken des gleichen Komponisten. Ebenfalls in Italien komponierte der nichtj\u00fcdische Komponist Carlo Grossi (1634\u20131688) im Jahr 1680 (oder 1681) eine \u201eCantata ebraica in dialogo\u201d f\u00fcr eine j\u00fcdische Bruderschaft in Modena oder Venedig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Diese Angleichung der j\u00fcdischen Musik an die umgebende Kunstmusik vollzieht sich auch in Amsterdam. Im 18. Jahrhundert veranstalteten wohlhabende, aus Portugal stammende j\u00fcdische Familien in ihren Salons Konzerte mit Opern und Kantaten, Gattungen, die mit den Werken von Abraham Caceres (insbesondere \u201eHiski Hizki\u201d und die 1738 uraufgef\u00fchrte Kantate \u201eLe-el Elim\u201d) und <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/de\/lidarti-cristiano-giuseppe-1730-apres-1793\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cristiano Giuseppe Lidarti (1730\u2013nach 1793)<\/a> sogar bis in die Synagoge vordringen. Letzterer schrieb 1774 mit dem <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/de\/ester-un-oratorio-de-pourim-du-compositeur-lidarti-1730-ap-1793\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Oratorium Ester<\/a> das l\u00e4ngste Werk in der gesamten Geschichte der j\u00fcdischen Barockmusik (\u00fcber zwei Stunden). Das Libretto des Oratoriums Ester stammt von dem aus Mantua und Venedig stammenden Rabbiner Jacob Raphael Saraval (1707?\u20131782), der f\u00fcr sein Interesse an Musik bekannt war. In einem Dokument vom M\u00e4rz 1757 bittet Saraval die Beh\u00f6rden des Ghettos von Mantua wenige Tage vor Purim um die Erlaubnis, dass die Sch\u00fcler seiner Jeschiwa \u201eeine Art Oper auf der Grundlage einer biblischen Geschichte\u201d auff\u00fchren d\u00fcrfen. Er erhielt die Erlaubnis unter der Bedingung, dass keine Nichtjuden zur Auff\u00fchrung zugelassen werden, mit Ausnahme des Instrumentalisten und des Kost\u00fcmbildners. Saravals Libretto basiert auf der zweiten Fassung von H\u00e4ndels Oratorium \u201eEsther\u201c (1732), allerdings mit zahlreichen K\u00fcrzungen und einigen Erg\u00e4nzungen. Auf dieser CD besteht es ausfolgenden Musikerinnen und Musikern: Caterina Trogu R\u00f6hrich (Sopran), Renata Stefani (Mezzosopran), Luigi Pagliarini (Tenor), Davide Benetti (Bass), Lydia Cevidalli und Elena Marazzi (Violine), Fabio Bellofiore und Eugenio Silvestri (Viola), Claudio Frigerio (Violoncello) sowie Simonetta Heger (Cembalo).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a
