Dezember 1951 in Paris komponiert. Er besteht aus einem Zyklus von sieben kurzen Klavierst\u00fccken von <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/de\/milhaud-darius-1892-1974\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Darius Milhaud<\/a> (1892-1974) und erinnert an die wichtigsten Feste des j\u00fcdischen Kalenders (Neujahr, Bu\u00dftag, Fest der H\u00fctte, Widerstand der Makkab\u00e4er, Fest der K\u00f6nigin Esther, Ostern, Pfingsten). Die Komposition, die etwa 10 Minuten dauert, wurde am 10. April 1952 von dem Pianisten Frank Pelleg (1910-1968) beim Ein Gev Festival (Israel) uraufgef\u00fchrt. Das Madeleine Milhaud gewidmete Werk wurde 1952 vom Israeli Music Publisher (Tel Aviv) ver\u00f6ffentlicht.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignleft size-full wp-image-28843\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/p_334_couv_eclaircie__370px_vertic.jpg\" alt=\"p_334_couv_eclaircie__370px_vertic.jpg\" width=\"287\" height=\"370\" align=\"left\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/p_334_couv_eclaircie__370px_vertic.jpg 287w, https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/p_334_couv_eclaircie__370px_vertic-233x300.jpg 233w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 287px) 100vw, 287px\" \/>Der Titel der Komposition bezieht sich auf die siebenarmige Menora (Leuchter) des Tempels von Salomon. Darius Milhaud stammt aus einer alten j\u00fcdischen Familie aus dem Comtat Venaissin.
