Die Klarinette hat mit drei Oktaven und einer kleinen Sexte, von allen Blasinstrumenten den gr\u00f6\u00dften Tonumfang. Die Klarinetten-Familie umfasst zw\u00f6lf Instrumente, von denen fast alle transponierend sind, die Variet\u00e4t reicht von der Kontrabassklarinette bis zur Sopranklarinette und deckt somit die gesamte Bandbreite eines Sinfonieorchesters ab.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignright size-full wp-image-30244\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/image_clarinettiste.jpg\" alt=\"image_clarinettiste.jpg\" width=\"200\" height=\"139\" align=\"right\" \/>Die Klarinette scheint im Laufe des 19. Jahrhunderts ihren Weg in die Klezmer-Ensembles gefunden zu haben, wahrscheinliche in Folge ihrer zunehmenden Beliebtheit in Milit\u00e4rkapellen. Um die Jahrhundertwende zum 20. Jahrhundert bevorzugten die Plattenfirmen die Aufnahme von Blasinstrumenten auf Kosten der Streicher, da letztere weniger klangstark und daher f\u00fcr die damalige Aufnahmetechnik weniger gut geeignet waren. So verdr\u00e4ngte die Klarinette in den ersten Jahrzehnten des 20. Jahrhunderts die Geige und wurde zum dominierenden Instrument der Klezmer-Ensembles.<\/p>\n<p>Die Klezmer ist stark mit der j\u00fcdischen Hochzeit und ihren zahlreichen Ritualen verbunden. Die Klarinette \u2013 von der man sagt, dass sie der menschlichen Stimme am n\u00e4chsten komme \u2013 bedient sich der zahlreichen Elementen der vokalen Ornamentik osteurop\u00e4ischer Kantoren, wie
