Bei den Zazous handelte es sich um eine Subkultur im Frankreich der 1940er Jahre. Zazous waren junge exzentrische Menschen, welche ihre Individualit\u00e4t durch das Tragen von weiter oder auch greller Kleidung und durch das Tanzen zu Swing-Jazz oder Bebop, zum Ausdruck brachten. Dieser freche Swing ahmt auf brillante Weise die Klezmer-Musik nach, festlich wie auch bewegend, eine der wesentlichen Eigenschaften von Gefilte Swing. Und wenn es nur die Zazou g\u00e4be? Prohibitions-Jazz? Gibt es. New-Orleans-Jazz? Gibt es. Franz\u00f6sischer Chanson, mit einem Hauch von Jiddisch? Gibt es.<\/p>\n<p>Und es gibt sogar Rock und Reggae! Man kann so weit gehen zu sagen, dass dieses Album vollkommen meschugge ist! Doch das Gute an der Klezmer-Musik ist, dass sie zu jedem Stil passt. Vom Geist der Offenheit gepr\u00e4gt, l\u00e4dt Gefilte Swing auf diesem neuen Album nicht weniger als zehn G\u00e4ste ein, S\u00e4nger und Musiker aus der Welt des Jiddischen, des Jazz, des Rock. Geschaffen wird so eine erstaunlich gelungene Fusion. Den Funken Wahnsinn, nicht zu vergessen. Wa da la di dou da di dou la wa wa!\u201c<\/p>\n<p>\u201eEine wirbelnde Musik, melancholisch und festlich zugleich, entstanden in der aschkenasischen Gemeinschaft Osteuropas und hier vereint die Klezmer-Musik, den Swing der Clubs von Harlem mit dem der Gro\u00dfen Depression. Unter der Leitung von <strong>Alexandre Litwak<\/strong>, bietem Gefilte Swing dem H\u00f6rer festlichen Jazz, verhaftet am Rande der Weltmusik und gespickt mit Jazz-Einfl\u00fcssen. Von den Zazous leihen sie sich ihre Unbek\u00fcmmertheit, den Wunsch, nur von Swing und Wasser zu leben, koste es was es wolle. Das Ergebnis dessen ist eine hedonistische, freiz\u00fcgige und belebende Musik. Wie schon Carte de s\u00e9jour in den 1980er Jahren, bieten Gefilte Swing auf diesem Album ihre ganz eigene Version von Charles Trenets \u201eDouce France\u201c an, allerdings auf Jiddisch.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>Augustin Bondoux \/ Patrick Fr\u00e9meaux, f\u00fcr Fr\u00e9meaux &amp; Associ\u00e9s<\/p>\n<p>Wie um mit einem Bein im 20. Jahrhundert und seiner Klezmer- und Jazzmusik verhaftet bleiben, entstand Gefilte Swing im Dezember 1999. Die Gruppe bestand aus einer S\u00e4ngerin und vier Musikern, die Klarinette, Saxofon, Posaune, Gitarre und Kontrabass spielten. Daraufhin erweiterte sich die Gruppe um weitere Musiker und deren Energie.
