Ein Vorfahre, von dem nichts au\u00dfer seinem Namen und Geburtsort bekannt ist. Stellen Sie sich vor, diese Stimme auf einer Aufnahme zu h\u00f6ren, das L\u00e4cheln in der Stimme, die St\u00e4rke, vielleicht auch die Traurigkeit. Es entsteht so das Bild eines seit Langem vergessenen Lebens. Dieses Musikprojekt beginnt mit Klangfragmenten einer Kultur, die um ein Haar ausgerottet worden w\u00e4re.<\/p>\n<p>OVES \u2013 Resonance of the Past versucht, eine Br\u00fccke zwischen Vergangenheit und Gegenwart zu schlagen. Diese Verbindung zwischen den Vorfahren und ihren Nachkommen soll die Musik herstellen.<\/p>\n<p>Mit Hilfe der Genealogin Ayana Kimron traf das WAKS-Ensemble vier Nachfahren von S\u00e4ngern, deren Stimmen zwischen 1928 und 1941 von den Musikethnologen Sofia Magid und Moshe Beregovsky auf Wachsrollen aufgezeichnet worden waren. Diese S\u00e4ngerinnen und S\u00e4nger des beginnenden 20. Jahrhunderts hie\u00dfen Basya Fayler, Shmuel Bronshvayg, Nokhem Shternheim, Rakhmiel und Helena Grin. Die Nachfahren der auf dieser CD zu h\u00f6renden Stimmen haben deren Lebensgeschichten erz\u00e4hlt.<\/p>\n<p>Bestehend aus <strong>Inge Mandos<\/strong> (Gesang), <strong>Klemens Kaatz<\/strong> (Klavier und Akkordeon) und <strong>Hans-Christian Jaenicke <\/strong>(Violine), spielt das WAKS-Ensemble mit der Musik und macht somit aus einer Wachsrollen-Aufnahme, ein neues Studio-Arrangement.
