Dieses Cordoba gibt es seit neun oder zehn Jahrhunderten nicht mehr. Was ist von diesem Geist also zu Beginn des 21. Jahrhunderts geblieben? Auf dieser neuen Aufnahme, welche sich der Musik, der aus Spanien Vertriebenen widmet, stellen sich Sandra Bessin und Rachid Brahim-Djelloul genau diese Frage. <\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Jud\u00e4o-spanische Lieder bilden den Ausgangspunkt dieser Ergr\u00fcndung und werden von arabisch-andalusischen oder auch jud\u00e4o-arabischen St\u00fccken, sowie Improvisationen und orientalischen Instrumentalthemen begleitet. Dargeboten wird die Musik des Mittelmeers, eine Hommage an diese f\u00fcr das Zusammenleben verschiedener Gemeinschaften emblematischen St\u00e4dte, imagin\u00e4re Spazierg\u00e4nge von Cordoba und Granada, nach Saloniki und Istanbul, Tetouan oder Constantine. Wie feiern, auf unsere ganz eigene Weise, die Verbindung von Ost und West, von G\u00f6ttlichem und Profanem, von volkst\u00fcmlicher und geistlichen Traditionen, von gestern und heute\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Sechs evokative Balladen \u2013 von Granada bis C\u00f3rdoba, \u00fcber den Balkan, Saloniki, Istanbul und sogar Tunis, Alger und Paris \u2013 bilden das Album, welches von der Stimmen von Sandra Bessis und Rachid Brahim-Djelloul getragen wird. Sandra ist seit nunmehr 25 Jahren, eine renommierte S\u00e4ngerin des sephardischen Repertoires. Rachid Brahim-Djelloul wiederum, beherrscht sowohl die instrumentalen wie auch die gesanglichen Finessen der arabisch-andalusischen Tradition. <\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Mal im Wechsel, mal gemeinsam schreiten ihre Stimmen \u00fcber die Wege, welche das Mittelmeer s\u00e4umen. Unterst\u00fctzt werden sie von dem Akkordeonspieler Jasko Ramic und seinem doppelten musikalischen Hintergrund: dieser ist einerseits klassisch, da er am Moskauer Konservatorium ausgebildet wurde, andererseits aber auch traditionell, da er in der serbischen Gypsy-Tradition verwurzelt ist. Dar\u00fcber hinaus, nehmen sie sich diesem Repertoire, bar einer jeden Fantasie einer \u201eRekonstruktion\u201c, denn vielmehr handelt es sich um eine Neusch\u00f6pfung: Die Auswahl der St\u00fccke, die Verbindung des einem mit dem anderen, jahrhundertealter oder zeitgen\u00f6ssischer Kompositionen, die Kreuzung traditioneller Melodien mit der arabischen Poesie des Mittelalters, die Arrangements und die Instrumentierung, folgen ihren Epochen.
