Nachdem er zu Fu\u00df die Pyren\u00e4en \u00fcberquert hatte, gelangte er schlie\u00dflich im Sommer 1944 nach Pal\u00e4stina. Er wurde Solohornist im Symphonieorchester von Jerusalem und ging 1963 in die Zentralafrikanische Republik, um dort eine Blaskapelle zu gr\u00fcnden. Da ihn die traditionelle Musik des Landes sehr beeindruckte, widmete er den Rest seines Lebens der Erforschung dieses Erbes sowie des Erbes anderer Regionen der Welt. Seit 1990 filmt J\u00e9r\u00f4me Blumberg die Arbeit von Simha Arom.<\/p>\n<p>Dieser einf\u00fchlsame und faszinierende Film, ergr\u00fcndet den Werdegang eines Mannes, welcher mehrere Lehren offenbart: eine Lehre \u00fcber das Leben, \u00fcber die Schattenseiten der Geschichte und eine Lehre der Musikethnologie.
