Laut Michel L\u00e9vy \u201ewaren die Eigent\u00fcmer von Dounia franz\u00f6sische Grafen, die in Frankreich Besitzungen hatten (&#8230;). Sie hatten einen Sitz in Algerien und einen zweiten in Paris, im Stadtteil Strasbourg Saint-Denis. W\u00e4hrend des Algerienkriegs verkaufte Dounia, ebenso wie Path\u00e9 oder Teppaz, viele Schallplatten in Algerien. Das Business kam zum Erliegen, als Algerien eine eigene W\u00e4hrung einf\u00fchrte und die Pieds-noirs abwanderten &#8230; Es gab eine Art bleierner Mantel \u00fcber dem Handelsaustausch zwischen Algerien und Frankreich. Line Monty zum Beispiel sang viel auf privaten Partys. F\u00fcr all diese K\u00fcnstler gab es eigentlich keine Galas, auch wenn es noch einige orientalische Kabaretts in Saint-Michel oder im Faubourg Montmartre gab. (&#8230;) Als ich Dounia aufkaufte, stellte ich fest, dass die K\u00fcnstler in Waren bezahlt <img decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-81352 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Reinette-lOranaise-285x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"263\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Reinette-lOranaise-285x300.jpg 285w, https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Reinette-lOranaise.jpg 333w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 250px) 100vw, 250px\" \/>wurden, d. h. in Schallplatten oder Kassetten &#8230; Das stand schwarz auf wei\u00df in den Vertr\u00e4gen. Diese kreative Ader endete Anfang der 70er Jahre, als das Label Dounia kaum noch neue Aufnahmen machte und sich damit begn\u00fcgte, seinen Katalog orientalischer Musik, der damals rund 15 Jahre umfasste, in Neuauflagen von Vinyl oder Kassetten zu verwerten.<\/p>\n<p>Anfang der 1980er Jahre brachte Michel L\u00e9vy, der von El Kahlaoui Tounsi als Presseattach\u00e9 eingestellt worden war, den Dounia-Katalog wieder in Schwung und kaufte ihn nach El Kahlaoui Tounsis Pensionierung in den 1990er Jahren.\u00a0 Kurz darauf ver\u00f6ffentlichte Michel L\u00e9vy zusammen mit Bruno Barre bei M\u00e9lodie Distribution mehrere CDs von Lili Boniche, Blond-<img decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-81347 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Raoul-Journo-288x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"260\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Raoul-Journo-288x300.jpg 288w, https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Raoul-Journo.jpg 336w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 250px) 100vw, 250px\" \/>Blond, Reinette l&#8217;Oranaise, Line Monty, Luc Cherki, Ren\u00e9 Perez&#8230; in der Reihe \u201eTr\u00e9sors de la chanson jud\u00e9o-arabe\u201c(Sch\u00e4tze des j\u00fcdisch-arabischen Chansons).
