Diese St\u00fccke wurden urspr\u00fcnglich vom Label Capitol in Los Angeles auf zwei Schallplatten 33 Umdrehungen herausgegeben: <em>Jewish Music \u2013 Melodies Beloved the World Over<\/em> (1957) und <em>Jewish Memories<\/em> (1960). Sie wurden 1990 remastert und auf CD ver\u00f6ffentlicht.<\/p>\n<p>Die Ursache dieser j\u00fcdischen Musikplatten ist die Pers\u00f6nlichkeit von <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/de\/kluger-jacques-1912-1963\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jacques Kluger<\/a>, ein leidenschaftlicher Jazzliebhaber, Erfolgsproduzent, der Konzerte f\u00fcr Duke Ellington und Louis Armstrong organisierte, die Karriere von gro\u00dfen K\u00fcnstlern wie Annie Cordy oder Eddy Constantine beeinflusste, und der erste Verleger von Jacques Brel in Br\u00fcssel war.<\/p>\n<p>Die Produktion dieser Platten, die sich stark von den anderen unterschieden, war f\u00fcr Jacques Kluger die Gelegenheit, seinen damals k\u00fcrzlich verstorbenen Vater zu ehren, der ein gro\u00dfer Liebhaber traditioneller j\u00fcdischer Musik war. F\u00fcr die Herstellung der Platten bat Jacques seine Mutter, eine begabte Pianistin, die Lieder und Melodien zu transkribieren, die sie auf dem Klavier im Wohnzimmer spielte, wenn sie die sp\u00e4ten Schabbat-Abende f\u00fcr die zahlreichen G\u00e4ste ihres Mannes nach dem Verlassen der Synagoge unterhielt. Diese Melodien wurden dem Komponisten und Dirigenten Benedict Silberman anvertraut, die sie orchestrierte.<\/p>\n<p>Diese CD, interpretiert vom von Benedict Silberman geleiteten Orchester des niederl\u00e4ndischen Rundfunks in Hilversum, l\u00e4sst uns \u00fcber mehr als eine Stunde lang in eine traditionelle j\u00fcdische Stimmung eintauchen, die aus Momenten der Freude, der Trauer und der Nostalgie besteht.
