Seit 1958 lebt sie in Israel.<\/p>\n<p>Nach ihrem Bachelor- und Masterabschluss in Musikwissenschaft und Klavier am Conservatorio Nacional de Buenos Aires und an der Musikakademie der Universit\u00e4t Tel Aviv promovierte sie 1986 in Musikwissenschaft an der Universit\u00e4t Tel Aviv. Ihre Doktorarbeit \u00fcber die Untersuchung der Musik von vier Indianerst\u00e4mmen des peruanischen Regenwaldes: \u201eYagua, Campa, Mashco und Orej\u00f3n\u201c st\u00fctzt sich auf Aufnahmen von Musik und mythischen Geschichten, die sie vor Ort mit Hilfe von Zusch\u00fcssen der Universit\u00e4t Tel Aviv gesammelt hat.<\/p>\n<p>Ab 1973 konzentrierte sich Susana Weich-Shahak auf die sephardische Musiktradition, wobei sie ihre Arbeit haupts\u00e4chlich im Rahmen des Forschungszentrums f\u00fcr j\u00fcdische Musik an der Hebr\u00e4ischen Universit\u00e4t Jerusalem durchf\u00fchrte. \u00dcber viele Jahre hinweg leistete sie umfangreiche Feldarbeit. Sie sammelte eine Vielzahl von Aufnahmen und Zeugnissen und erstellte einen Katalog mit Analysen, in dem die drei wichtigsten Genres des traditionellen j\u00fcdisch-spanischen Repertoires vorgestellt werden: Romanzen, Coplas und Cantigas. Diese drei poetischen und musikalischen Genres zeugen von der Vitalit\u00e4t, dem Reichtum und der Vielfalt dieses Repertoires. Ihre Feldarbeit f\u00fchrte sie zu Reisen in die verschiedenen sephardischen Gemeinschaften, die es in der Welt gibt, nach Bulgarien (1993, 1995), Belgien (1995), Frankreich (1995), Griechenland (1992), Mazedonien (1993), Marokko (1987), Peru (1975), Spanien (1993, 1995, 1997), in die T\u00fcrkei (1996) und nach Israel (1973-2002). Alle ihren Aufnahmen sind nun in der Israelischen Nationalphonothek in Jerusalem katalogisiert.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignleft  wp-image-29311\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/couv_cd_judeo-spanish_moroccan_songs_for_the_life_cycle_250px_horiz.jpg\" alt=\"couv_cd_judeo-spanish_moroccan_songs_for_the_life_cycle_250px_horiz.jpg\" width=\"200\" height=\"194\" align=\"left\" \/><\/p>\n<p>W\u00e4hrend ihrer langen Karriere unterrichtete sie in Israel als Dozentin an der Universit\u00e4t Tel Aviv (Fachbereich Musikwissenschaft), am Musiklehrerseminar, an der Universit\u00e4t Alcal\u00e1 (Fachbereich Spanische Studien, der sich in Israel befindet), an der Universit\u00e4t Haifa (Fachbereich Musik) und an der Bar-Ilan-Universit\u00e4t (Salti-Zentrum, f\u00fcr Studien in Judeo-Spanisch).<\/p>\n<p>Von 1987 bis 2003 war sie im Ministerium f\u00fcr Bildung und Kultur (Bezirk Tel Aviv) f\u00fcr die Musikbildung zust\u00e4ndig.<\/p>\n<p>Von 1992 bis 1997 und 2004 erhielt sie u. a. vom spanischen Ministerium f\u00fcr Kultur und Wissenschaft ein Stipendium f\u00fcr ihre Forschungsarbeiten am CSIC (Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cient\u00edficas) in Madrid.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignright size-full wp-image-29313\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/couv_livre_un_vergel_vedre_300px_vertic.jpg\" alt=\"couv_livre_un_vergel_vedre_300px_vertic.jpg\" width=\"211\" height=\"300\" align=\"right\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Von 1998 bis 2006 leistete sie in ganz Spanien umfangreiche Feldarbeit: Sie f\u00fchrte gleichzeitig zahlreiche interdisziplin\u00e4re Projekte an verschiedenen Universit\u00e4ts- und Forschungseinrichtungen durch und hielt Kurse und Vortr\u00e4ge zum Thema sephardische m\u00fcndliche \u00dcberlieferungen, wof\u00fcr sie 2006 mit dem renommierten Samuel-Toledano-Preis (<em>Premio Samuel Toledano<\/em>) f\u00fcr ihre Forschungsarbeit, Vortr\u00e4ge, Bewahrung und Verbreitung des traditionellen sephardischen musikalisch-poetischen Repertoires ausgezeichnet wurde und 2016 den vom spanischen Au\u00dfenministerium verliehenen Zivilverdienstorden Spaniens (<em>\u00d3rder del M\u00e9rito Civil<\/em>) bekam.<\/p>\n<p>Susana Weich-Shahak ist Autorin zahlreicher Ver\u00f6ffentlichungen (B\u00fccher, Artikel und CDs).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ihre diskografischen Ver\u00f6ffentlichungen :<\/strong><br \/>&#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/de\/ventanas-altas-de-saloniki-2\/\"><strong>Ventanas altas de Saloniki<\/strong>\u2013 Sephardische Lieder, Koplas und Ballanden aus Thessaloniki<\/a><br \/>&#8211;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/de\/judeo-spanish-songs-for-the-life-cycle-in-the-eastern-mediterranean-cantares-judeo-espanoles-del-ciclo-de-la-vida-en-el-mediterraneo-oriental\/\">Judeo-Spanish Songs for the Life Cycle in the Eastern Mediterranean \/ Cantares Judeo-espanoles del Ciclo de la Vida en el Mediterraneo Oriental\u00a0\u2013<\/a><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/de\/judeo-spanish-songs-for-the-life-cycle-in-the-eastern-mediterranean-cantares-judeo-espanoles-del-ciclo-de-la-vida-en-el-mediterraneo-oriental\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> J\u00fcdisch-spanische Lieder im \u00f6stlichen Mittelmeerraum<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2013<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Traditional Sephardic Songs and Ballads from Morocco, CD.
