Der in seinem Heimatland Rum\u00e4nien aufgenommenen Sampler basiert auf zwei S\u00e4ulen: der <em>Klaviersonate Nr. 3, op. 24 <\/em>(1913-1916), und zwei Kammermusikst\u00fccken, <em>Trio a-Moll<\/em> (1916) und <em>Nocturne Ville d&#8217;Avrayen<\/em> (1898).<\/p>\n<p>Die beiden letztgenannten St\u00fccke, von denen eines bei einem Konzert und das andere im Studio aufgenommen wurde, erscheinen zum ersten Mal auf einer Tonaufnahme. Bemerkenswert ist, dass die <em>Nocturne Ville d&#8217;Avrayen<\/em>, die vor kurzem in einem Manuskript entdeckt wurde, das im Instutul Cultural Rom\u00e2n &#8211; Muzeul National \u201eGeorge Enescu\u201c aufbewahrt wird, f\u00e4lschlicherweise auf 1931-1936 datiert und mit einer Widmung f\u00fcr die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Enescu und Yehudi Menuhin versehen ist. In Wirklichkeit handelt es sich um ein Jugendwerk (1898), das <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/de\/halphen-fernand-1872-1917\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fernand Halphen<\/a>\u00a0gewidmet ist, seinem Klassenkameraden am Pariser Konservatorium in der Kompositionsklasse von Jules Massenet (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/de\/le-nocturne-ville-davrayen-de-georges-enesco-1881-1955\/\">Mehr \u00fcber Enescus\u00a0<em>Nocturne Ville d\u2019Avrayen<\/em><\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Die CD enth\u00e4lt auch drei \u201e<em>Pi\u00e8ces impromptues\u201c op. 18<\/em>, (<em>\u201eM\u00e9lodie\u201c<\/em>, \u201e<em>Voix de la steppe\u201c<\/em>, und\u00a0<em>\u201eMazurk m\u00e9lancolique\u201c<\/em>), sowie das \u201e<em>Pi\u00e8ce<\/em> <em>sur le nom de Faur\u00e9\u201c (1922)<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Die Anekdote um die Entstehung des <em>Trios<\/em>, die im Booklet der CD erz\u00e4hlt wird, ist interessant zu erw\u00e4hnen. \u201eIm M\u00e4rz 1916 lie\u00df sich Enescu, der sich damals in Bukarest aufhielt, ins Krankenhaus einweisen, allerdings mit einer unbekannten Diagnose&#8230; Tatsache ist, dass er w\u00e4hrend seines einw\u00f6chigen Krankenhausaufenthalts die Energie und die Gelegenheit fand, dieses Werk zu komponieren, und er beeilte sich, eine vollst\u00e4ndige Version auf Papier zu bringen, die heute zu h\u00f6ren ist. Das Manuskript wurde fast 40 Jahre sp\u00e4ter entdeckt. [&#8230;] Dieses Manuskript, das ohne die Hilfe eines Klaviers geschrieben wurde, weist nur sehr wenige Korrekturen auf, was f\u00fcr den Komponisten ungew\u00f6hnlich ist. Die einzige Erkl\u00e4rung daf\u00fcr ist, dass Enescu die gesamte Komposition bereits in seinem au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlichen Ged\u00e4chtnis hatte, ausf\u00fchrlich dar\u00fcber nachgedacht hatte und nur auf die Gelegenheit wartete, sie zu Papier zu bringen. Kein Musiker w\u00e4re in der Lage, ein so komplexes Werk ohne Korrekturen und ohne Z\u00f6gern in nur einer Woche zu erdenken und zu vollenden, ein Werk, dessen Abschrift gerade eine Woche in Anspruch nehmen w\u00fcrde.
