The\u00a0Bubbey Mayse<\/strong>\u00a0is the power of four women.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a committed music, an assertive writing style, driven by the strength of the collective.<\/p>\n

In their instruments, we hear the cries of stirring stories, feel the tread of anger, guess the deep roots with longings for horizon, dream of snuggling up in a dance until the wee hours\u2026<\/p>\n

And in their four finely tuned voices, we plunge into a whole, epidermal universe. This is the world of four women who come together around their love of klezmer music and the Yiddish language, and who draw from it the impetus to reinvent a brighter tomorrow.<\/p>\n

The musicians: Elsa Signorile<\/strong>\u00a0(clarinet, vocals),\u00a0Juliette Divry<\/strong>\u00a0(cello, vocals),\u00a0Margaux Li\u00e9nard<\/strong>\u00a0(fiddle, vocals) and\u00a0Morgane Labbe<\/strong>\u00a0(accordion, vocals).<\/p>\n
