Radio broadcast collection

Native of Buenos Aires, Argentina, Hector Sabo grew up in the ‘hazanout tradition (cantorial art) transmitted by his grandfather David Sabo. At the age of nine, he joins the professional choir of the Great Synagogue of Buenos Aires (Paso street) singing with his father.

Settled in Strasbourg, Hector Sabo hosts, since September 2017, the radio show “Ledor Vador” on Radio Judaïca Strasbourg 102.9 FM. He hosted 39 shows dedicated to the history of Hebrew music trough time.

Hector Sabo gave to the EIJM a copy of his broadcasts in order to preserve and diffuse the Jewish musical heritage.
