Grand Ball of Purim with the Marx Sisters Orchestra

March 1st, 2018 at 8 pm, ECUJE, 119 rue La Fayette - 75010 Paris

In the tradition of Purim Shpil, the Jewish Cultural and University Space of Europe and the Marx Sisters Orchestra invite you to dance ...

Do you like to sing? And especially dance?

Drinking and eating a Houmen Taschen or Haman dedos between two dances?

Because in Purim it’s a mitzvah to drink, right? And to rejoice! And to dress up ...

We are told that it is also a mitzvah to dance.

So come and celebrate Purim at ECUJE with the whole family, your friends, your lover, your fiancé, your soul mate: we will dance, turn heads, beat hearts, stomp, twirl in Horas, Nigunim, Freylekhs, Vals and other Tantsen ...

And for this exceptional evening, the Marx Sisters invited two of their musician friends to accompany them: klezmer violonist Charles Rapoport, and Richard Cailleux, drummer and percussionist.

And of course you will also find the Marx Sisters: Judith (vocals), Milena (clarinet and voice), Benjamin (double bass and voice), Samuel (accordion), and Mano (guitar and banjo).
