(Paris, France) Every Tuesday from 19:30 to 21:30
The Shira veSimh’a choir of the MJLF meets once a week with choral conductor Charles Mesrine. It is a mixed ensemble that interprets in one or more voices liturgical or folk tunes in Hebrew, Yiddish, Ladino, English or French. The whole is sung a cappella or accompanied in music.
The choir participates in the life of the community for services (kabalat shabbath, Tishri, Hanukkah, Purim festivals) or occasional events (MJLF Full House, Yom HaShoah). She usually gives two annual concerts.
The rehearsals take place at the MJLF West, Tuesdays from 19:30 to 21:30.
