Distinguished among the best guitarists in the world by Guitar Magazine and Classical Guitar, Liat Cohen is "a true virtuoso guitarist perpetuating the great tradition established by the legendary Andrès Segovia, transforming the guitar, an intimate instrument, into a solist instrument imposing itself on large concert halls. while maintaining its delicate and warm nuances "(Professor Hirshberg). Liat Cohen performs on five continents and collaborates with the greatest conductors (Jacques Mercier, Frédéric Chaslin, Jan Talich, Uri Segal ...) and the greatest orchestras and ensembles (Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, Israel Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra National of Lorraine, Bern Orchestra, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Haifa Symphony Orchestra, Istanbul Symphony Orchestra, Talich Chamber Orchestra, Prazak Quartet, Zemlinsky Quartet ...). Muse and musician Liat Cohen explores and transcends his repertoire. Among her projects, transcriptions for the guitar of the works of J.S. Bach she recorded at the Abbey of Mont St-Michel in 2003 while she is artist in residence. Transcriptions found on the album "Liat Cohen plays Bach" and gives in recital for the 20th European Heritage Day. In 2005, "Latino-Ladino" was released by Harmonia Mundi, born from an exciting encounter between Spanish baroque music and South American music.
