Maison de la Culture Juive

Bd Guillaume Van Haelen 193A
1190 Bruxelles - Belgium
+32 (0)2 343.62.24

The quality and variety of its programs, associated to the skills of its actors make it an important vehicle of the Jewish Belgian humanism.

The singularity of the Maison de la Culture Juive stands on its will to present, without any taboo, the Jewish culture in its mulitform, in what it has of universal.

And if the founding texts are in the center of their reflexions, it’s to better show the essential elements and confront them to contemporary realities, in order to require an innovative reading, carrier of meaning and ethic.

To obtain this result, the MCJ calls regularly contemporary Jewish thinkers to talk, such as : Armand Abécassis, Raphaël Draï, Rivon Krygier, Edouard Robberechts, and many others.

These activities centered on the richness of the Jewish philosophy are made possible thanks to a motivated and skilled team.
