Children’s songs 2

PLAYLIST below

Behind the apparent simplicity of the melody and rhythm in children’s songs, there is often a pedagogic goal hidden.
Children’s songs are traditionally passed on orally, like sayings or stories. The use of a certain rhythm helps to learn the song.

Among this playlist is a recording of the Hebrew alphabet by children from Yemen « Aleph-bet : Apprentissage chanté de l’alphabet, Yémen » taken from (with a CD) Musiques liturgiques juives : Parcours et escales de Hervé Roten
