Purim 2nd part

Playlist on Purim
The word « purim » comes from the accadian word « pur » which means « to draw lots »...

The holiday of Purim makes reference to the dice thrown by Haman, 1st minister of king Asuerus, to choose the correct day (14th Adar) to kill all the Jews.

This holiday commemorates the salvation of the Jews of the Persian empire around the mid 5th century before JC, saved by the queen Esther from the evil Haman.

During this holiday, it is traditional to play music, theater and to dance.
