Two albums from the French band

The EIJM just acquired two CD from the French band BEKAR, who defines itself as « pop songs with a Yiddish accent »

Voice, clarinet, drums, bass and piano create a fusion music between rock, pop-folk and cabaret. The ska-rock rythms follow the funky tangos and festive melodies, of which some of them bring us to the former Yiddishland.

Since 2008, BEKAR performs in concert halls in Montpeller, Sète, Paris, Martigues, Toulouse, Carpentras... and everywhere else in France.
