Klezmer Über Alles!

Pushkin Klezmer Band

CD

It is not often that we see a new CD of klezmer music from Kiev in Ukraine. So when Pushkin Klezmer Band relases its first album Klezmer Über Alles, first album of Jewish music to be recorded in Ukraine in many years, evidently, it rocks!

Mixing with it jazz and world music, Pushkin Klezmer Band remodels klezmer music, but keeping the festive aspect of this wedding music.

With its leader Mitya Gerasimov at clarinet and singing since 2010, Pushkin Klezmer Band performs in clubs, bars, synagogues, festivals and of course weddings so people hear this music in Ukraine and across borders
