Yiddish music great classics

This fund, which includes many LP records, was deposited at the European Institute for Jewish Music by Jean-Michel Zalc, son of Icek and Sosza Ita Zalc.

This collection is mainly composed ofYiddish music with artists such as the Barry Sisters or Benzion Witler, but it also includes some notable productions by major Israeli bands such as the Parvarim or the Yemenite Trio, among others.
It is accompanied by a hint of liturgical music and traditional festive songs, such as Moishe Oysher ’s Chanukah Party albums as well as Masterpieces of the Synagogue by the great cantor Josef Rosenblatt .
