The collection dedicated to Jacques Chalude, aka Ben baruch

One of the finest voices of the ashkenazi cantor !

It’s with the precious help of his son, Joël Chalude, that we slowly built the holding around Jacques Chalude. This collection, kept safely in our archives room, gathers 78rpm, sheet music, pictures, posters, that illustrates Jacques Chalude’s great career.

You can now search in our catalogue for these archives (browse Ben Baruch’s collection.), or by making an appointment with the European Institute of Jewish Music (contact@iemj.org)
