A musical journey in the heart of the Jewish soul, by Virginie Constant

This first part will make us travel with profane and sacred works written mainly in the first half of the 20th century, by composers in search of a Jewish musical identity, such as Joseph Achron, Ernest Bloch, Gideon Klein, Lazare Saminski, Mark Warshawsky…

2nd part

Trans’African Klezmer

A world creation by Denis Cuniot

With Denis Cuniot (piano), Julien André (African percussions), Jean-Philippe Vireta (double bass) and the special participation of the African dancer Aminata Traoré.

After the creation of his Raga Klezmer in 2015, Denis Cuniot looks upon Africa for a new show putting close together the African music as well as the klezmer music, both of them based on the dance, the spirituality and the trance.
