For this 13th program, Hector Sabo, along with his son Léo, talk about Hebraic music in the second half of the 19th century, composed in France.
We will first hear a short piece by the composer Léonce Cohen : Odo al Eretz (psalm 158), followed by excerpts of compositions by Charles-Valentin Alkan and Samuel David.
Hector Sabo is a musician, composer (piano, organ, harpsichord) and choirmaster, today in charge of the musical direction of the chorals of the Great Synagogue of Strasbourg.
