After the representation of the Jewish mother in the Yiddish and then Judeo-Spanish song, this third and final part of our cycle is devoted to the Jewish mother in the Judeo-Arabic song.
Far from being trivial, this theme allows us to understand the place of women in traditional Jewish societies. Transmitted orally from generation to generation, the songs convey many clichés about the eternal feminine.

Our guest, Simon Elbaz, singer-songwriter, will explain some of them, through the songs of Samy el Maghrebi, Hbiba Msika, Monty Line, Lili Boniche, Enrico Macias, Salim Hallali ...
