Privileges

Patrons will benefit from priority access to different cultural events organized by the Institute.

Note: a donation to an association is different than membership. You can independently, from being a donor, act as a member of the association, and take part in its organization and actions.

Support a project

The European Institute of Jewish Music is a public association as per the law of July 1st 1901, and survives only thanks to donations and subsidies. In order to accomplish its mission, the European Institute for Jewish Music must modernize itself, enrich its collections and continually propose new cultural projects. In order to preserve the diversity of its activities, the EIJM needs your help for:

  • Cultural projects: contribute to the organization of our cultural programme.
  • Acquisitions: take part in the enlargement of our databases, enriching our permanent collections that are a testimony to the diversity within the Jewish musical heritage, created by Jewish artists and communities throughout centuries in France and elsewhere.
  • Digitization and cataloging: The saying goes that protection is knowing before anything else. The identification, cataloging and digitization of our patrimonial archives are the central activities of what our volunteers do. The digitization is employed as a method towards both preservation and diffusion. The European Institute of Jewish Music has made it from now on possible to make this patrimony available to a large audience.
