Radio program in French<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>The Canticle of the Red Sea (in Hebrew: \u05e9\u05d9\u05e8\u05ea \u05d4\u05d9\u05dd) is one of the three poems seen in the Hebrew Bible. It is followed by a short song, sang by Myriam and the other women: \u201cThen Miriam the prophet, Aaron\u2019s sister, took a timbrel in her hand, and all the women followed her, with timbrels and dancing. 21 Miriam sang to them: Sing to the LORD&#8230;\u201d (Exode 15, 20-21)<\/p>\n<p>This canticle expresses the gratitude of the Hebrew people towards God for having freed them from Egypt and from Pharaoh\u2019s army swallowed by the sea.
