In university, she joins another singer and guitarist to form &#8220;The Demoiselles&#8221;, an international duet that perform in folkloric, Israeli and Mediteranean clubs of Greenwich Village.<\/p>\n<p>She participates regularly in many TV shows, \u00abJewish Entertainment Hour\u00bb by Gary Wagner and \u00abJersey&#8217;s Talking\u00bb by Lee Leonard.<br \/>For several years, she is one of the stars of Wallington Exchange, an international night club, where she builds up her repertoire, including Broadway music.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignleft size-full wp-image-25908\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/h._engel_10mm.jpg\" alt=\"h._engel_10mm.jpg\" width=\"106\" height=\"118\" align=\"left\" \/><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/en\/engel-helene\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Engel<\/a> is a singer, musicologist, author, composer and arranger. She is interested in all aspects of Jewish music, from the collecting of historical sounds to today\u2019s compositions. Based in Montreal, she hosts the radio show \u201d The hidden sides of Jewish Music\u201d on Radio SHALOM Montreal.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h2>\n\n\n<div
