The inauguration of this building marked the beginning of a profound reform of the musical cult which continued throughout the 19th century and saw its apotheosis in the inauguration of the Great Synagogue of Bordeaux in 1882.<\/p>\n<p>Herv\u00e9 Roten&#8217;s lecture, illustrated by numerous musical examples, will allow us to follow the evolution of Bordeaux&#8217;s liturgy with the introduction of new vocal and instrumental practices, notably the introduction of the organ in some of the official ceremonies until its definitive introduction in the regular religious service of the
