Radio program in French<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s in the 17th century that Jewish music start to be written on score. And it&#8217;s usually scholarly compositions, polyphonic, like the 33 choirs for 3 to 8 voices, composed by Salamone Rossi (1570-1630?) and published in Venice in 1622-23. A few years later, this attraction for scholarly polyphonic music reached the Comtat Venaissin (actual Provences-Alpes-C\u00f4te d&#8217;Azur region of France), as well as Amsterdam where composers like Abraham Caceres or Cristiano Giuseppe Lidarti wrote pieces of music in a baroque style, for weddings, circumcisions or particuliar shabbat services.
