El alcance de esta obra profana sugiere que Rossi desempe\u00f1\u00f3 un destacado rol musical entre la nobleza de Mantua (Italia), particularmente en la corte de los Gonzaga, donde habr\u00eda trabajado durante la mayor parte de su vida.<\/p>\n<p>Sus piezas se habr\u00edan interpretado regularmente en bailes y conciertos de m\u00fasica de c\u00e1mara. La creaci\u00f3n del gueto jud\u00edo de Mantua en 1612 inspir\u00f3 probablemente a Rossi esta nueva forma de m\u00fasica sinagogal. Los jud\u00edos de Mantua, excluidos de la sociedad cristiana, aprovecharon la oportunidad para crear su propia m\u00fasica art\u00edstica. De este modo, Rossi quer\u00eda llegar al coraz\u00f3n de sus oyentes m\u00e1s que impresionarlos.<\/p>\n<p>Este CD nos muestra los muchos talentos de Rossi como compositor de la corte y reformador de la m\u00fasica sinagogal. El conjunto a capella <strong>Profeti Della Quinta<\/strong>, formado por cinco miembros, est\u00e1 acompa\u00f1ado por <strong>Katya Polin<\/strong> y <strong>Eva Saladin<\/strong> a los violines, y <strong>Ori Harmelin<\/strong> y <strong>Ryosuke Sakamoto<\/strong> a la tiorba (un tipo de la\u00fad de gran tama\u00f1o).
