Se trata de un proyecto de investigaci\u00f3n del <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jmth.gr\/article-17102023-ta-tragoudia-tou-olokautwmatos-twn-ellinwn-evraiwn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Museo Jud\u00edo de Sal\u00f3nica<\/a>, bajo los auspicios de la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jct.gr\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Comunidad Jud\u00eda de Sal\u00f3nica<\/a> y cofinanciado por el Fondo Jud\u00edo Europeo, la Claims Conference y el Departamento de Historia y Arqueolog\u00eda de la Universidad Arist\u00f3teles de Sal\u00f3nica.<\/p>\n<p>Las canciones descritas en este libro son principalmente arreglos de canciones populares europeas, canciones de m\u00fasica de cine o de \u00f3pera, canciones populares griegas o rebetika <span class=\"footnote_referrer\"><a role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" onclick=\"footnote_moveToReference_119660_1('footnote_plugin_reference_119660_1_1');\" onkeypress=\"footnote_moveToReference_119660_1('footnote_plugin_reference_119660_1_1');\" ><sup id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_119660_1_1\" class=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text\">[1]<\/sup><\/a><span id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_119660_1_1\" class=\"footnote_tooltip\">El rebetiko es un g\u00e9nero musical popular que se origin\u00f3 en las comunidades griegas de Asia Menor a principios del siglo XX y luego se extendi\u00f3 por toda Grecia. Durante el Holocausto, los jud\u00edos griegos adaptaron estas canciones con nuevas letras que hablaban de sus esperanzas o temores, de su amor por su patria, Grecia, y\/o su ciudad natal, Sal\u00f3nica. De este modo, estas canciones se convierten a menudo en una fuente de informaci\u00f3n hist\u00f3rica sobre el Holocausto. Se dividen en tres categor\u00edas principales: las escritas en el gueto del Bar\u00f3n Hirsch de Sal\u00f3nica, las escritas dentro de los campos de Auschwitz y, por \u00faltimo, las escritas por los supervivientes despu\u00e9s del Holocausto.<\/p>\n<p>La soprano Mariangela Chatzistamatiou est\u00e1 detr\u00e1s de este proyecto. A ra\u00edz de un concierto ofrecido en diciembre de 2016 en la comunidad jud\u00eda de Volos (Grecia), se interes\u00f3 por las canciones de la tradici\u00f3n jud\u00eda y comenz\u00f3 a investigar sobre el tema. El resultado es un corpus de 16 canciones presentadas en esta colecci\u00f3n, escritas en griego e ingl\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>La primera parte del libro expone el contexto en el que se llev\u00f3 a cabo la investigaci\u00f3n de Mariangela Chatzistamatiou, y va acompa\u00f1ada de textos introductorios de eminentes personalidades como Maria Farantouri, L\u00e9on Nar, Betty Magrizou, el profesor Giorgos Antoniou y David Saltiel, Presidente del Consejo Central de Comunidades Jud\u00edas de Grecia.<\/p>\n<p>La segunda parte de la colecci\u00f3n, dividida en tres partes ( Songs of the Ghetto, Songs of the Camps, y After the Holocaust) ofrece la letra de estas 16 canciones, su origen y el contexto en el que se interpretaron.<\/p>\n<p>Al final del folleto hay un c\u00f3digo QR que permite escuchar <a href=\"https:\/https:\/\/youtube.com\/playlist?list=PLa-jfKKSuwPIdTUh3E2pf_HxvOG9_z2H5&amp;si=4Qq07H8yqlXe9toW\/youtube.com\/playlist?list=PLa-jfKKSuwPIdTUh3E2pf_HxvOG9_z2H5&amp;si=4Qq07H8yqlXe9toW\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wplink-url-error=\"true\">los cantos en la p\u00e1gina YouTube del Museo Jud\u00edo de Sal\u00f3nica<\/a>.
