Esta costumbre se basa en <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Thirteen_Attributes_of_Mercy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">los trece atributos de la misericordia<\/a> que, seg\u00fan la tradici\u00f3n, fueron transmitidos por Dios a Mois\u00e9s (<em>\u00c9xodo<\/em> 34, 6-7).<\/p>\n<p>Originalmente, las <em>selijot<\/em> se le\u00edan durante el servicio y el ayuno de Yom Kipur. Luego, esta costumbre se extendi\u00f3 a 10 d\u00edas (<em>yamim nora\u00edm<\/em>) entre Rosh Hashan\u00e1 y Kipur. Las comunidades ashkenaz\u00ed y jas\u00eddica recitan las <em>selijot<\/em> del s\u00e1bado por la noche anterior (al menos cuatro d\u00edas) de la fiesta de Rosh Hashan\u00e1. Las comunidades sefard\u00edes las leen al amanecer antes de las oraciones matutinas durante cuarenta d\u00edas, a partir del 1 de Elul.<\/p>\n<p>La siguiente lista de reproducci\u00f3n presenta una selecci\u00f3n de selijot en las diferentes variantes del rito tunecino. Es en T\u00fanez y Djerba donde todav\u00eda encontramos hoy las comunidades jud\u00edas m\u00e1s importantes, comunidades a las que se asocian los nombres de <em>paytan\u00edm<\/em> (autores de poemas religiosos) y cantantes, como <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_kRXX5PhID6Va3kjOqkr8qiGb5cLaT0LHU\">Yaakov Bchiri<\/a> o <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/es\/raoul-journo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Raoul Journo<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>T\u00e9ngase en cuenta que el rito de T\u00fanez fue influenciado por la tradici\u00f3n de Or\u00e1n, que a su vez tiene sus ra\u00edces en el juda\u00edsmo espa\u00f1ol de finales del siglo XV e italiano del siglo XVIII (las Granas de Livorno).
