De todos los instrumentos de viento de su familia, el clarinete es el que tiene el rango m\u00e1s amplio, con tres octavas m\u00e1s una sexta menor, es decir, 45 notas en total. Hay una docena de instrumentos diferentes en la familia, casi todos transpositores, desde el clarinete contrabajo hasta el clarinete sopranino, que cubren toda la gama de una orquesta sinf\u00f3nica.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignright size-full wp-image-30244\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/image_clarinettiste.jpg\" alt=\"image_clarinettiste.jpg\" width=\"200\" height=\"139\" align=\"right\" \/>El clarinete parece haber sido introducido en los conjuntos de m\u00fasica klezmer durante el siglo XIX, probablemente tras su protagonismo en las bandas militares y la m\u00fasica de reclutamiento. A principios del siglo XX, las compa\u00f1\u00edas discogr\u00e1ficas favorecieron la grabaci\u00f3n de instrumentos de viento en detrimento de los de cuerda, cuyo sonido menos potente se adaptaba menos a las t\u00e9cnicas de grabaci\u00f3n de la \u00e9poca. As\u00ed, en las primeras d\u00e9cadas del siglo XX, el clarinete suplant\u00f3 al viol\u00edn y se convirti\u00f3 en el instrumento dominante en los conjuntos klezmer.<\/p>\n<p>Como la m\u00fasica klezmer est\u00e1 fuertemente relacionada con el matrimonio jud\u00edo y sus numerosos rituales, el clarinete -que se dice que es el instrumento m\u00e1s parecido a la voz humana- toma frecuentemente
