Despu\u00e9s de un paso por el Conservatorio y la fosa de la Op\u00e9ra-Comique (como violoncelista), encuentra a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/halevy-jacques-francois-fromental-elie-1799-1862\/\">Hal\u00e9vy<\/a> qui\u00e9n le ayuda en su control de la composici\u00f3n. Es gracias a von Flotow que los salones parisinos se abren para el, y d\u00f3nde se da a conocer como interprete virtuoso, antes de dirigir la m\u00fasica en la Com\u00e9die-Fran\u00e7aise.<\/p>\n<p>Adelante el rechazo tenaz de los directores del Op\u00e9ra y del Op\u00e9ra-Comique, decide crear su propio teatro que se instala en los Campos El\u00edseos, durante la 1\u00aa Exposici\u00f3n Universal de 1855, y despu\u00e9s ocupa el Passage Choiseuil d\u00f3nde el teatro tiene todav\u00eda hoy en d\u00eda el nombre de \u00abBouffes-Parisiens\u00bb y ve la creaci\u00f3n de Orph\u00e9e aux Enfers en 1858 (la pieza sera interpretada m\u00e1s de 1.000 veces durante la vida del autor).<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignright  wp-image-26913\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/offenbach_vu_par_joseph_keppler_1878_recto_carte_380px_vertic.jpg\" alt=\"offenbach_vu_par_joseph_keppler_1878_recto_carte_380px_vertic.jpg\" width=\"246\" height=\"347\" align=\"right\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/offenbach_vu_par_joseph_keppler_1878_recto_carte_380px_vertic.jpg 269w, https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/offenbach_vu_par_joseph_keppler_1878_recto_carte_380px_vertic-212x300.jpg 212w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 246px) 100vw, 246px\" \/>El suceso de Offenbach se vuelve r\u00e1pido internacional y su predominio durante la 2\u00aa Exposici\u00f3n Universal en Par\u00eds en 1867, especialmente con <em>La Vie parisienne<\/em> y <em>La Grande-duchesse de G\u00e9rolstein<\/em>, interpretada por Hortense Schneider. Con la ca\u00edda de Napole\u00f3n III y de su imperio, Offenbach conoce un cierto desinter\u00e9s a favor de Lecoq, qui\u00e9n no estar\u00e1 compensada solo por sus \u00faltimos sucesos:\u00a0<em>La Fille du r\u00e9giment<\/em> en 1879 y su ultimo opera creado algunos meses despu\u00e9s de su falleci\u00f3 (el 4-5 de octubre de 1880):\u00a0<em>Les Contes d&#8217;Hoffmann<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Todav\u00eda considerado a menudo por error como el \u00abpadre de la opereta\u00bb (de hecho, el titulo recae en Herv\u00e9), Offenbach es innegablemente el maestro de un g\u00e9nero \u00abbufo\u00bb que ha influido a toda Europa y dar a luz a las operetas vienesas (Strauss, L\u00e9har) y inglesas (Gilbert &amp; Sullivan).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignleft  wp-image-26915\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/jean-claude_biojout_redim.jpg\" alt=\"jean-claude_biojout_redim.jpg\" width=\"147\" height=\"210\" align=\"left\" \/>Cantor l\u00edrico y director, Jean-Philippe Biojout a menudo ha trabajado el alegre cat\u00e1logo de Offenbach.
