Seg\u00fan Michel L\u00e9vy, \u00ablos propietarios de Dounia eran condes franceses que ten\u00edan propiedades en Francia (&#8230;). Ten\u00edan una sede en Argelia y otra en Par\u00eds, en el barrio de Estrasburgo Saint-Denis. Durante la guerra de Argelia, Dounia, al igual que Path\u00e9 o Teppaz, vendi\u00f3 muchos discos en Argelia. El negocio ces\u00f3 cuando Argelia cre\u00f3 su propia moneda y los pieds-noirs se fueron&#8230; Hab\u00eda una especie de manta de plomo en el comercio entre Argelia y Francia. Line Monty, por ejemplo, cantaba mucho en fiestas privadas. Para todos estos artistas, las galas no exist\u00edan realmente, aunque todav\u00eda hab\u00eda algunos cabarets orientales en Saint-Michel o en el Faubourg Montmartre. Esta vena creativa lleg\u00f3 a su fin a principios de los a\u00f1os 70, cuando el label Dounia apenas realiz\u00f3 nuevas grabaciones y se content\u00f3 con explotar, en reediciones en vinilo o casete, su cat\u00e1logo de m\u00fasica oriental, que entonces abarcaba unos quince a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>A principios de los a\u00f1os 80, Michel L\u00e9vy, contratado por El Kahlaoui Tounsi como responsable de prensa, relanza el cat\u00e1logo de Dounia, que compra cuando \u00e9ste se retira en los a\u00f1os 90.\u00a0 Poco despu\u00e9s, Michel L\u00e9vy public\u00f3 con Bruno <img decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-81349 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Raoul-Journo-288x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"260\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Raoul-Journo-288x300.jpg 288w, https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Raoul-Journo.jpg 336w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 250px) 100vw, 250px\" \/>Barre, con M\u00e9lodie Distribution, varios CD de Lili Boniche, Blond-Blond, Reinette l&#8217;Oranaise, Line Monty, Luc Cherki, Ren\u00e9 Perez&#8230; en la colecci\u00f3n \u00abTr\u00e9sors de la chanson jud\u00e9o-arabe\u00bb.
