Al ver su talento, el compositor Maurice Ohana le alent\u00f3 a cantar y la escogi\u00f3 para interpretar sus Cantigas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Standard\" style=\"text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;\"><span lang=\"ES\">Primera Soprano en el seno del coro Musicatreize dirigido por Roland Hayrabedian, se volvi\u00f3 alumna de Andr\u00e9a Guiot en el Conservatorio de Par\u00eds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Standard\" style=\"text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;\"><span lang=\"ES\">En 1998, recibi\u00f3 el Premio Villa Medicis hors les murs (beca dedicada a los artistas) por la recolecci\u00f3n de la tradici\u00f3n musical y po\u00e9tica de la ciudad de Fez en Marruecos. Recibi\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n el Premio Fondation Caisse d&#8217;Epargne \u201cMejor Artista M\u00fasica del Mundo 2007\u201d; imparte clases magistrales de canto en Ginebra, en Montreal, en Aix-en-Provence, en Bruselas o en Basilea.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignright  wp-image-21260\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/img-4651_-_pour_bio_site_iemj.jpg\" alt=\"img-4651_-_pour_bio_site_iemj.jpg\" width=\"198\" height=\"218\" align=\"right\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"Standard\" style=\"text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;\"><span lang=\"ES\">Al mismo tiempo que su carrera de cantante internacional, es Directora Art\u00edstica del Festival des Andalousies Atlantiques de Esauira (Marruecos) de 2007 a 2015 y del Festival de M\u00fasica de Gibraltar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Standard\" style=\"text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;\"><span lang=\"ES\">El Festival des Andalousies Atlantiques ha inspirado, durante el verano de 2015, el Festival de Arte L\u00edrico de Aix-en-Provence, ya que Fran\u00e7oise Atlan fue invitada all\u00ed para cantar \u201cl&#8217;Esprit d&#8217;Essaouira\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Standard\" style=\"text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;\"><span lang=\"ES\">En 2013, fund\u00f3 la Compagnie Yemaya y l&#8217;Ensemble Vocal F\u00e9minin Bilbilikos, coro amateur para cual reescribi\u00f3, entre otros, los repertorios judeoespa\u00f1oles y arabo andalus\u00ed para 4 voces.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignleft  wp-image-21262\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/img-4756_-_pour_bio_site_iemj.jpg\" alt=\"img-4756_-_pour_bio_site_iemj.jpg\" width=\"195\" height=\"218\" align=\"left\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"Standard\" style=\"text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;\"><span lang=\"ES\">Su nuevo \u00e1lbum \u201cAman! Sefarad&#8230;\u201d con el Conjunto Griego Enchordais, estrenado en enero de 2015, fue premiado por el \u201cCoup de Coeur\u201d (favorito) de la Academia Charles Cros 2015. Ese mismo a\u00f1o, actu\u00f3 \u2013 entre otros \u2013 con la Orquesta Sinf\u00f3nica de Montreal bajo la direcci\u00f3n de Maestro Kent Nagano, en el marco de la temporada \u201cl&#8217;Orient imaginaire\u201d, junto al compositor Philipp Glass. France Musique le dedic\u00f3 un retrato de una hora de duraci\u00f3n, en el programa \u201cCouleurs du Monde\u201d, con motivo de los 20 a\u00f1os de su carrera.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Standard\" style=\"text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;\"><span lang=\"ES\">Tambi\u00e9n en 2015, el Ministerio de la Cultura le pidi\u00f3 una obra sobre la tradici\u00f3n vocal femenina del Mediterr\u00e1neo. As\u00ed naci\u00f3 \u201cZelliges\u201d (1h15), para voces, oud, piano y percusi\u00f3n.
