{"id":88941,"date":"2018-02-12T17:38:23","date_gmt":"2018-02-12T16:38:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/toscano-paul\/"},"modified":"2025-09-08T16:46:12","modified_gmt":"2025-09-08T14:46:12","slug":"toscano-paul","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/es\/toscano-paul\/","title":{"rendered":"Toscano, Paul"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Paul Toscano es un violinista y director de orquesta gitano, conocido en Francia y en Europa en la segunda mitad del siglo XX.<\/p>\n<p>Poco se sabe sobre el artista, salvo que fue violinista en la orquesta de la \u00d3pera de Par\u00eds y que en aquella \u00e9poca, era muy solicitado para la animaci\u00f3n de bodas jud\u00edas.<\/p>\n<p>Cuando se acab\u00f3 la Segunda Guerra Mundial, mientras la m\u00fasica gitana a\u00fan est\u00e1 muy presente en el seno de los cabarets parisinos, Toscano es uno de los pilares, junto con otros m\u00fasicos como Yoska Nemeth o Mirko Layosh. Entre los cabarets m\u00e1s frecuentados por Paul Toscano, podemos citar el <em>Dianarzade<\/em> entre 1951 y 1952, y luego el <em>Raspoutine<\/em><em> en el que<\/em> dirigi\u00f3 la orquesta gitana.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignright size-full wp-image-13970\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/ls_toscano_500px.jpg\" alt=\"ls_toscano_500px.jpg\" width=\"252\" height=\"249\" align=\"right\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/ls_toscano_500px.jpg 252w, https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/ls_toscano_500px-100x100.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 252px) 100vw, 252px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Los microsurcos a\u00fan estaban en una etapa temprana, y s\u00f3lo existen unos pocos testimonios grabados de su m\u00fasica. Sin embargo podemos hablar de la grabaci\u00f3n de algunas m\u00fasicas con el sello Elesdisc, a finales de los a\u00f1os 40, sello fundado por L\u00e9on Speiser en su librer\u00eda yiddish, en el 34 rue des Rosiers, Par\u00eds 4\u00b0 distrito.<\/p>\n<p>A partir del final de los a\u00f1os 40, obtuvo el primer premio de\u00a0 \u201cm\u00fasica de g\u00e9nero\u201d, categor\u00eda recompensando especialmente\u00a0 obras existentes en 78 tours (vinilo), alrededor de los a\u00f1os 1930, y siendo interpretadas por peque\u00f1as orquestas tradicionales.<\/p>\n<p>Por otra parte, Paul Toscano lleg\u00f3 por primera vez a la pantalla grande, en 1947, en la pel\u00edcula <em>Quai des Orf\u00e8vres<\/em> de Henri-Georges Clouzot.
