{"id":92265,"date":"2019-03-05T16:23:32","date_gmt":"2019-03-05T15:23:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/kurt-weill\/"},"modified":"2023-01-12T17:52:07","modified_gmt":"2023-01-12T16:52:07","slug":"kurt-weill","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/es\/kurt-weill\/","title":{"rendered":"Kurt Weill"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bleu nuit \u00e9diteur, septiembre de 2018, 176 p.<\/p>\n<p>Este libro nos lleva en un viaje desde la m\u00fasica atonal de principios del siglo XX hasta las canciones t\u00edpicamente americanas y las melod\u00edas f\u00e1ciles, largamente defendidas y grabadas por su esposa, pero que siguen estando de moda por lo entra\u00f1ables que resultan.<br \/>\nEsta biograf\u00eda, con numerosas ilustraciones y ejemplos musicales, es la primera que se publica en franc\u00e9s desde hace m\u00e1s de quince a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>El compositor americano de origen alem\u00e1n Kurt Weill (1900-1950) estudi\u00f3 composici\u00f3n, contrapunto y direcci\u00f3n de orquesta en la Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik de Berl\u00edn. En 1920 trabaj\u00f3 con Busoni y compuso su primera sinfon\u00eda en 1921.<br \/>\nSiempre en busca de un lenguaje que pudiera atraer al p\u00fablico m\u00e1s amplio posible, su lenguaje mezcla las t\u00e9cnicas de la m\u00fasica moderna (atonalidad, politonalidad, jazz, etc.), que se encuentran en sus primeras \u00f3peras: <em>Der Protagonist<\/em>, <em>Royal Palace<\/em>. Su primera colaboraci\u00f3n con Brecht dio lugar a la pieza <em>Mahagonny-Songspiel<\/em> en 1927. Al a\u00f1o siguiente, este trabajo a cuatro manos dio lugar a La \u00f3pera de los tres centavos, que revolucion\u00f3 el teatro musical al arremeter contra el capitalismo y el orden establecido.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignright size-full wp-image-23015\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/l_829_couv4_remim_450px_vertic.jpg\" alt=\"l_829_couv4_remim_450px_vertic.jpg\" width=\"319\" height=\"450\" align=\"right\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/l_829_couv4_remim_450px_vertic.jpg 319w, https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/l_829_couv4_remim_450px_vertic-213x300.jpg 213w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 319px) 100vw, 319px\" \/>Autor de una obra proteica y prol\u00edfica, Weill se exili\u00f3 en Francia en 1933 y present\u00f3 varias obras en Par\u00eds, entre ellas <em>Los siete pecados capitales<\/em> en el Th\u00e9\u00e2tre des Champs \u00c9lys\u00e9es, antes de escapar definitivamente del r\u00e9gimen nazi a Estados Unidos, donde pas\u00f3 el resto de su vida como ciudadano americano.<\/p>\n<p>El autor, Bruno Giner*, presenta un panorama de la abundante producci\u00f3n musical del compositor dotado de una fenomenal capacidad de trabajo en la que aparecen en filigrana los grandes temas de un pensamiento extremadamente coherente: pacifismo, antimilitarismo, s\u00e1tira de la dictadura, cr\u00edtica del capitalismo, del materialismo y de la segregaci\u00f3n racial.<br \/>\nSu m\u00fasica est\u00e1 muy influenciada por la m\u00fasica de variedades americana y los ritmos de jazz: <em>Happy End<\/em>, <em>Silverlake<\/em>, <em>Railroads<\/em>, <em>Lady in the Dark<\/em>, tendiendo as\u00ed puentes entre las culturas musicales alemana y americana.
