Non scriveva forse il salmista (Salmi 119:62) \u201cMi alzo a mezzanotte per renderti grazie per i tuoi giusti giudizi\u201d?<\/p>\n<p>Con la nascita della scuola cabalistica di Safed, in Galilea, nel XVI secolo, la preghiera notturna assunse un nuovo significato: si trattava di piangere, nel cuore della notte, la distruzione del Tempio e l&#8217;esilio della presenza divina, la <em>Shekhina<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-116888 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Shirat-ha-Baqqashot_Lior-Elmaleh_CD-belle-couv-300x273.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"273\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Shirat-ha-Baqqashot_Lior-Elmaleh_CD-belle-couv-300x273.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Shirat-ha-Baqqashot_Lior-Elmaleh_CD-belle-couv.jpg 435w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>L&#8217;influenza della Cabala di Safed fu tale che, oltre a diffondere lo studio della mistica ebraica, molte delle sue pratiche furono adottate dalle comunit\u00e0 ebraiche di tutto il mondo. Ad esempio, sono poche le comunit\u00e0 che non accolgono lo Shabbat intonando il famoso <em>Lekha dodi,<\/em> scritto da Salomon Elqabe\u1e63, un eminente mistico di Safed nel XVI secolo.<\/p>\n<p>Questa influenza fu particolarmente importante nel Vicino Oriente e nel Nord Africa. In diverse comunit\u00e0 di queste regioni, la pratica della <em>Shirat ha-Baqqachot<\/em> si svilupp\u00f2 notevolmente.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Che cos&#8217;\u00e8 la<em> Shirat ha-Baqqachot<\/em>?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Il sabato mattina d&#8217;inverno, prima dell&#8217;alba, i fedeli si riuniscono in sinagoga per cantare le <em>baqqachot<\/em> (o <em>bakashot<\/em>), una raccolta di poesie liturgiche. Ariel Danan, specialista di <em>bakashot<\/em> marocchine, spiega in un&#8217;intervista per l&#8217;IEMJ: \u201cQuesti canti iniziano il primo Shabbat dopo Sukkot, cio\u00e8 lo Shabbat Berechit, quando si riprende la lettura della Torah, e continuano ogni settimana fino allo Shabbat prima di Purim, nel rito marocchino. Nella tradizione nordafricana, questi canti sono eseguiti principalmente da paytanim (cantori-poeti). Nel rito mediorientale, le <em>bakashot<\/em> seguono un testo fisso ogni settimana, che inizia con il poema mistico <em>El Mistater<\/em>. Ogni strofa di questo poema corrisponde ad una delle dieci Sefirot, attributi o manifestazioni del divino. Un altro testo chiave di questa tradizione \u00e8 un poema del XVI secolo che inizia con: <em>Ode la-El levav &#8216;hoker beron ya&#8217;had kokhve voker<\/em> (\u201cCome le stelle del mattino cantano in concerto, io lodo Dio che circonda i cuori\u201d).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-116883 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Haim-Look_Kassidot-300x297.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"297\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Haim-Look_Kassidot-300x297.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Haim-Look_Kassidot-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Haim-Look_Kassidot-100x100.jpg 100w, https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Haim-Look_Kassidot.jpg 435w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Nel rito marocchino, la struttura delle <em>bakashot<\/em> rimane costante per tutta la stagione, ma i testi variano di settimana in settimana. I canti si aprono sempre con due poesie fisse, <em>Dodi Yarad<\/em> e <em>Yedid Nefesh<\/em>, e si concludono con <em>Sha&#8217;har Avaqesh&#8217;ha<\/em> (\u201cAll&#8217;alba ti cerco\u201d). Tra questi elementi fissi, le poesie liturgiche cambiano ogni settimana secondo una modalit\u00e0 musicale specifica, chiamata <em>nuba<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Ariel Danan spiega: \u201cNella tradizione marocchina, ogni Shabbat \u00e8 associato ad una nouba, una modalit\u00e0 musicale derivata dalla musica andalusa. Ci sono 11 nouba elencate; alcune sono comuni alle tradizioni ebraiche e musulmane della musica andalusa marocchina, mentre altre sono state conservate o create dagli ebrei. Le <em>bakashot<\/em> vengono cantate durante circa venti Shabbat. Alcune nubas sono quindi utilizzate per due o tre Shabbat, ma le melodie differiscono ogni volta, anche all&#8217;interno dello stesso modo musicale. Quest&#8217;ultima categoria di poesie \u00e8 chiamata <em>Qseda<\/em>, un termine generico per indicare le poesie narrative. \u00c8 un genere letterario ispirato alla poesia araba, di cui porta lo stesso nome. Ogni settimana, la <em>Qseda<\/em> racconta poeticamente un tema chiave della <em>parasha<\/em> settimanale.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Le <em>Baqqashot<\/em> oggi<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Oggi questa tradizione si mantiene soprattutto all&#8217;interno delle comunit\u00e0 di rito marocchino e siriano. In Israele, tuttavia, \u00e8 cresciuta notevolmente negli ultimi anni. In Francia si organizzano serate di <em>bakashot<\/em> in alcuni sabati sera d&#8217;inverno, soprattutto nella regione dell&#8217;\u00cele-de-France.
