Di tutti gli strumenti a fiato della sua famiglia, il clarinetto ha la gamma pi\u00f9 grande con tre ottave pi\u00f9 una sesta minore, ossia 45 note in tutto. \u00c8 disponibile in una famiglia di una dozzina di strumenti, quasi tutti traspositori, dal clarinetto contrabbasso al clarinetto sopranino, coprendo cos\u00ec tutta la gamma di un&#8217;orchestra sinfonica.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignright size-full wp-image-30244\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/image_clarinettiste.jpg\" alt=\"image_clarinettiste.jpg\" width=\"200\" height=\"139\" align=\"right\" \/>Il clarinetto sembra essere stato introdotto negli ensemble di musica klezmer durante il XIX secolo, probabilmente come risultato della sua crescente popolarit\u00e0 nelle bande militari e nella musica di coscrizione. All&#8217;inizio del XX secolo, le case discografiche favorirono la registrazione degli strumenti a fiato a scapito degli archi, il cui suono meno potente era meno adatto alle tecniche di registrazione dell&#8217;epoca.
