(<em>Il Furbo<\/em>), invitato dal Bey di Tunisi ad esibirsi ogni settimana al Palazzo Bardo, d&#8217;\u00c9lie Touitou (1932-2000) alias El Kahlaoui Tounsi, esperto percussionista \u00e8s-darbouka, che ebbe una bella carriera negli Stati Uniti, Maurice Meimoun (1929-1993) alias Meimoun El Tounsi, suonatore di oud e violino, del grande Raoul Journo (1911-2001), decorato da Jack Lang e Habib Bourguiba, di Habiba Msika (1903-1930), morta assassinata da un corteggiatore rifiutato, di Asher Mizrahi (1890-1967), nato a Gerusalemme e deceduto in Israele dopo aver vissuto a lungo in Tunisia, di Hana Rached (1933-2003), figlia della cantante e ballerina Flifla Chamia, di Le\u00efla Sfez (1874, 1944), nipote di Habiba Msika, delle sorelle Shemmama, Kammuna, Mannana, Bibiya e Bhayka accompagnate dal famoso violinista Kaylu, di Louisa Sa\u00e2doun (1905-1961) alias Louisa Tounsia e di Slama You ssef (1903-1970), grande suonatore di cetra che ora riposa a Gerusalemme.<\/p>\n<p>Anche le lingue giudaiche e gli strumenti musicali sono evocati in questa pubblicazione, che contiene anche diversi capitoli dedicati allo sviluppo del giudaismo nordafricano, a volte includendo imprecisioni o esprimendo un chiaro desiderio di abbellire la convivenza che non \u00e8 sempre stata cos\u00ec idilliaca.<\/p>\n<p>In sintesi, questo libro, accompagnato da un CD ed un DVD di Simon Elbaz sulla Matrouz, costituisce una preziosa fonte di informazioni, nonostante alcune imprecisioni.<\/p>\n<p>Un contributo al patrimonio musicale ebraico del Nord Africa.
