Per quest&#8217;ultimo era ancora necessario ed utile studiare un periodo poco o non sufficientemente esplorato: quello che, a seguito dell&#8217;azione di Napoleone I\u00b0, aveva visto l\u2019affermazione di una musica sinagogale parigina, espressione liturgica contemporanea del primo tempio concistoriale di Parigi, rimasto la prima ed unica sinagoga ufficiale dal 1822 al 1874.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_89717\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-89717\" style=\"width: 665px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-89717\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/p-34_Vue-interieure-du-premier-Temple-consistorial-de-Paris-1822-1852-300x212.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"665\" height=\"470\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/p-34_Vue-interieure-du-premier-Temple-consistorial-de-Paris-1822-1852-300x212.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/p-34_Vue-interieure-du-premier-Temple-consistorial-de-Paris-1822-1852.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 665px) 100vw, 665px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-89717\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><strong>Vista interna del primo Tempio concistoriale di Parigi (1822-1852).<br>[Archivi consistoriali, serie 5G1]<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Tale studio doveva anche permettere di restituire l&#8217;azione dei due agenti essenziali di questa riforma religiosa: il \u1e25azan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/it\/lovy-israel-1773-1832\/\">Israel Lovy (1773-1832)<\/a>, personaggio allora piuttosto poco conosciuto, ed il suo lontano successore <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/it\/naumbourg-samuel-1817-1880\/\">Samuel Naumbourg (1817-1880)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>L&#8217;approccio seguito<\/h3>\n<p>Effettuato all&#8217;inizio degli anni &#8217;80, il presente lavoro si \u00e8 basato su di un meticoloso esame del fondo degli <em>Archiv\u00ee Concistoriali<\/em> e su di un esame approfondito di numerosi periodici e documenti musicali post-rivoluzionari. Ha cos\u00ec anche permesso la riscoperta di elementi storici e musicologici, contemporanei del profondo cambiamento nelle comunit\u00e0 ebraiche parigine dei primi due terzi dell&#8217;Ottocento, elementi rimasti pi\u00f9 o meno dimenticati, trascurati, o addirittura trasmessi con imprecisioni divenute tradizionali.<\/p>\n<h3>Il piano stabilito<\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_89712\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-89712\" style=\"width: 339px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-89712\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/p-157_Recueil-de-Chants-Religieux-de-Samuel-Naumbourg-Cinquieme-recueil-1874-202x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"339\" height=\"503\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/p-157_Recueil-de-Chants-Religieux-de-Samuel-Naumbourg-Cinquieme-recueil-1874-202x300.jpg 202w, https:\/\/www.iemj.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/p-157_Recueil-de-Chants-Religieux-de-Samuel-Naumbourg-Cinquieme-recueil-1874.jpg 336w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 339px) 100vw, 339px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-89712\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><strong>Raccolta di canti religiosi, di Samuel Naumbourg (quinta raccolta [1874]).<\/strong><br><strong>(copia dalla biblioteca dell&#8217;autore)<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Questo lavoro \u00e8 strutturato in quattro capitoli.<\/p>\n<p>Il <em>capitolo 1<\/em> ricorda le evoluzioni dell&#8217;ebraismo francese e parigino, dalla Restaurazione agli inizi della Terza Repubblica. Il <em>capitolo 2<\/em> descrive l&#8217;istituzione di una musica sinagogale, che diventa parigina all&#8217;interno del primo tempio concistoriale. Il <em>capitolo 3<\/em> dettaglia in modo pi\u00f9 specifico le azioni dei \u1e25azan\u00eem Israel Lovy e Samuel Naumbourg, cos\u00ec come quelle di alcuni altri promotori culturali, ebrei o non ebrei. Il <em>capitolo 4<\/em> presenta e studia la pubblicazione cronologica delle edizioni delle raccolte di musica sinagogale. Questo lavoro ha inoltre consentito di esaminare gli spartiti manoscritti o stampati di questo periodo, nonch\u00e9 le testimonianze musicologiche pubblicate.<\/p>\n<p>Infine, sette appendici completano l&#8217;opera, per facilitarne la consultazione da parte del lettore, seguite da una bibliografia commentata particolarmente importante, strutturata in quattro parti (fonti manoscritte; fonti a stampa; opere di referenza; bibliografia illustrativa) e da un <em>index nominum<\/em>.<\/p>\n<h3>Il contenuto offerto<\/h3>\n<p>Definito e riconosciuto come sottogruppo nazionale a seguito delle due successive emancipazioni \u2013 rivoluzionaria e napoleonica \u2013 l&#8217;ebraismo francese seppe intraprendere la sua modernizzazione con la forte volont\u00e0 di offrire ai suoi contemporanei un culto \u201crinnovato\u201d, capace di essere paragonato favorevolmente ai culti cristiani stabiliti.<\/p>\n<p>Da un ovvio approccio iniziale incentrato sui due \u1e25azan\u00eem Lovy e Naumbourg, le prime indagini permisero di affermare che, contrariamente a diverse fonti, il vero riformatore-promotore della musica sinagogale parigina era stato Israel Lovy e non Samuel Naumbourg. , eppure tradizionalmente accreditato come tale, ma in realt\u00e0 semplice continuatore di questa riforma vent&#8217;anni pi\u00f9 tardi.<\/p>\n<p>Queste osservazioni preliminari ci hanno spinto a guardare pi\u00f9 da vicino il periodo 1822-1874, mezzo secolo durante il quale la prima sinagoga concistoriale parigina \u00e8 rimasta l&#8217;unico tempio ufficiale della capitale, istituzione con la quale il mondo musicale e artistico contemporaneo stabil\u00ec stretti rapporti.
