This first CD of the new collection “Discoveries” offers a modern, instrumental jazz take on seven traditional and contemporary Jewish themes.

Inspired by the work of the musician/composer John Zorn, founder of the “Radical Jewish Culture” movement, Pierre-Luc Bensoussan created the Bensoussan/Diaz/Soletti trio in 2012.

Through their thoroughly modern music, Pierre Diaz, saxophone, Patrice Soletti, guitar, and Pierre-Luc Bensoussan, drums, invite us on a fascinating voyage in search of the musical heritages of Sephardi and Eastern European Jews.
