Ta’am

29 June 2021 à 20h00 - 21h30

Choreography: Jessica Bonamy
Music and Oud: Abderraouf Ouertani
Dance and Song : Amalia Alba, Jessica Bonamy
Set design: Antonin Heck

A creation by the Safra Company, in co-production with the mahJ

In her piece Ta’am, choreographer Jessica Bonamy starts with te’amim, the vocalization signs of Hebrew liturgical texts.

She echoes these sung tropes with the corresponding hand signs. If they allow the transmission of the verb – or the biblical verse -, it is through their choreography that the piece brings out its musicality.

Danced in space, they invite us to taste, through the body and the voice, what comes to life in speech.
