Ophélie Gaillard Quartet Concert

The virtuoso cellist Ophélie Gaillard and her musicians perform an original program which gathers Jewish composers who have in common the exile. Other traditional works will be also performed, of Jewish inspiration, like the Kaddish by Ravel or the triptych of Jewish life by Ernest Bloch. The spirit of celebration, tenderness, religious introspection are as many facets of the daily Jewish life and culture of several generations of Jewish immigrants, told by the humanist bow of Ophélie Gaillard.
